Justin Timberlake will star in a new indie drama film called “The Open Road,” along with Jeff Bridges, Mary Steenburgen and Kate Mara.

The “Sexyback” singer will play Bridges’ son and Steenburgen will play his ailing mother.

Mara reportedly will play his “sister” or “love interest.”

The film’s production begins this month in Louisiana.
