She also reportedly will sing the new James Bond theme song

After her request for a visa was denied, Amy Winehouse will not attend this year’s Grammy Awards, but will perform by satellite instead.

The British soul singer who collected six nominations at this year’s Grammys and entered a rehab clinic two weeks ago, was rejected to enter the United States, thus, she can’t perform at the Sunday’s ceremony in Los Angeles as planned.

And now, according to a source close to the star, Winehouse’s label, Universal Music, and Grammy organizers were assembling a plan to have her perform via satellite at the top U.S. music awards.

Meanwhile, another reports mention that Winehouse is in talks to sing the new James Bond theme song.

A source tells Britain’s The Sun, “[April is] when the Bond people make a final decision on who sings the theme. If Amy is clean then, it’s hers.”

“It will have a dark and moody feel so Amy would be absolutely perfect,” another source adds.
